Linda Ikeji’s blog on Blogspot has been restored by Google after 24 hours of it being shut down.
Nigeria’s number 1 blogger Linda Ikeji has been in the eye of the storm for the past one week over alleged copyright infringement by a shadowy character called Alexander Mukhtar Dan’Iyan, the editor-in-chief of the 15Past8 Media Group based in New York City, who goes by the Twitter handle, @MrAyeDee.
The former model took to Twitter with a series of tweets to celebrate the restoration of her blog and emphasized that the claims made against her blog were bogus.
Google restores LIB 24hrs after deleting it based on bogus claims. They usually don't do this. I feel so blessed and so loved. Thanks LIBers

And Google restores http://t.co/mW3qw0nAmW. I hear it's a record. Normally it takes weeks or months to restore a deleted blog. But not LIB.

Before the restoration of her blog, Ikeji had registered a domain name www.lindaikejionline.com and expressed reluctance to return to Blogspot in an explosive post that exposed the motives of the enemy who tried to shutdown her business.
“I’ve been in touch with the people at Google…some of them say they may return the blog but I’m no longer interested. If they can’t protect me from people like Alex/Aye Dee, then there’s no point continuing to do business with them,” she said in a post on her new domain.

This is a sweet victory for Ikeji who says she has learnt a lesson from this episode as it turns out that her attacker is an old friend of hers who felt she ”had grown wings” and needed to be destroyed because he sent her a number of emails and did not get a response.
What a world!
