The Rivers State High Court at Degema, Degema Local Government Area, hadgone upin flames in the early hours of today, Monday, February 2, 2015.
The cause of the fire outbreak which started at precisely 4a.m could not be ascertained.
The fire inferno damaged virtually all the parts of the building.
This is coming up barely two days after the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, suspended an 8-month-old strike.
As at the time of this report, men of the fire service were yet to arrive the scene to calm the situation.
Meanwhile, it is not yet clear whether casualties were recorded or not in the incident.
