The 21 Chibok girls who were released by Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram, are currently meeting with Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The school girls arrived the Villa at about 2pm on Wednesday, October 18, 2016 alongside their families and their medical team, Aso Rock’s Twitter handle said.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Aisha Alhassa, the minister of women affairs, and other government officials are present at the meeting.

The Chibok girls were freed in a for-cash-deal or a prisoner swap, or both, according to reports.
The Nigerian government continues to deny a prisoner exchange or paying the terrorist a ransom for the release of the girls.
Upon their release, the girls were hosted by Nigerian veepee, Professor Osinbajo. They were released the same day that President Buhari left the country to Germany for a working visit.
On Sunday, most of the girls attended a Christian thanksgiving service held in their honour in Abuja where an emotional reunion with their parents took place.
Lai Mohammed, Nigeria’s information minister, has cautioned against making inflammatory statements that could jeopardize the on-going negotiations between the Buhari government and Boko Haram for the release of more Chibok girls in their captivity.
