Nigeria’s former President, Goodlcuk Jonathan has arrived his native Bayelsa State to a rousing hero’s welcome as people turned out in their numbers to welcome the statesman from Otueke.
Jonathan, who had just handed over to President Muhammdu Buhari before heading home was welcomed home with chants of “Hero”.
He will be hosted by Governor Seriake Dickson at the Government House with former Governors of the State, traditional rulers and other dignitaries in attendance.
From the governor’s hosting, Jonathan will head to Otuoke, his country home where an even grander celebration is expected to take place.
