Johnny Walker Set To Commence Season 1 of Long Awaited Freestyle TV Show

There may be good news for Rap and hardcore hip-hop fans in Nigeria as media personality, Johnny Walker, also known as Johnny Jam Jam is set to bring to TV and Online screens, a new concept in music freestyles and lyrics delivery.

John Walker started his career as a music and media publisher of the Ascology Company and also ventured into social media affiliations such as the famous Nigeria News Desk on twitter.

Speaking to correspondents in Lagos, he said “I’m trying to bring to Nigerians, Africans and of course the global entertainment industry, a new concept in music which allows artist to be entirely free in communicating with their fans through the delivery of their lyrics, any other thing that comes on/with the show will be nothing but a minor”

“Of course, the culture of free styling in music is not new, but I’m creating something fans can relate with, enjoy, appreciate and respect individual performing artists for”.

According to him, episodes from the Johnny Jam Jam series will be aired on several Nigerian TV stations as well gathering maximum attention on several social media blogs and websites.

Asked about the possibility for upcoming artists to come on the show, he said “100% yes, Of course, there’ll be terms, there’ll be restrictions but DELIVERY is a major factor and once we believe you’ve got that, well hit us up on Twitter or something and let’s get it started”

Shooting for Season 1 of the Johnny Jam Jam series is set to commence in few weeks with artists such as Olamide, Vector, Reminisce, Phyno, Cartiar, Buckwylla, Yung6ix, Terry Da Rapman, Ice Berg Slim, YQ, Chuddy K, Patoranking, Konga, Seriki, Konga, Posly TD to name a few, are set to showcase their freestyle talents and lyrics delivery to an awaiting audience of mostly hip-hop fans.

Public Relations Manager for Ascology, Jerry Kabiri also hinted that plans are on the way to bring international artists such as Sarkodie, Wale, Jadakiss, Twista, Joe Budden, Juelz Santana, Tyler the Creator among many others on Season 1 of the Jam Jam series.
