Award winning singer Sammie Okposo and actor, Jim Iyke, collaborating with Support Our Troops group, visited Nigerian troops at Mogadishu Cantonment in Abuja on Thursday, February 12, 2015 to support and encourage the soldiers especially in their brave fight against insurgency in the country.
The “Support Our Troops” group is a charitable organization set up by the Minister of State for Defence, Mr Musiliu Obanikoro to assist Nigerian soldiers by mobilizing the needed financial and moral support for them and their families.
Okposo and Iyke were warmly received by coordinators of the organization and soldiers in Abuja.
The actor shared a photo of their visit via his Instagram page on Thursday, February 11, 2015.
He captioned it:
I’ve had many occasions abroad especially in the States to witness the amazing support and respect members of the armed forces enjoy from their citizens.
