More than 200 others were injured in the terrorist attack when a truck loaded with ammunition rammed into a crowd of people celebrating a French national holiday on Thursday, July 14, 2016.
French authorities have not indicated that the attack was part of a larger ISIS plot, or that the attacker took direction from ISIS, a terrorist group operating out of Iraq and Syria.
Five people have been arrested connection with the attack in which 10 children were among the victims.
