Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s has condemned the U.S. and Britain as for creating the Islamic State terror group which has now become a threat to Iraq, Syria and the rest of the world.
According to Ali Khamenei, Zionism and the ‘wicked’ government of Britain are the terror who have sharply increased needless efforts to create discrepancy and division between the Sunnis and Shi’ites tribes.
He further stated that the Shi’ite group and the western state has a historical record of enmity and hatred between them as both group has a micro movement who has been sponsored to possess arms as local groups, an allegation that has been denied by both senior officials from both countries.
‘They created Al Qaeda and Da’esh in order to create divisions and to fight against the Islamic Republic, but today, they have turned on them,’ He said.
He is of the view that other Western countries, including Britain, have also been involved in bombing raids against Islamic State positions in Iraq and the Middle East.
Khamenei’s accusation is comprehensively a pointer to Western support for the rebel forces fighting Tehran’s close ally, President Bashar-al Assad of Syria.
Hardline Islamists have been identified as the rebels’ strongest military element. There are persistent rumours that many rebels trained and armed by the West have gone on to join Isis.
A recent survey of armaments used by Isis forces was discovered that the U.S. was one of the few bis source of the foundation, others include Russia and China.
