Impeachment: Enugu Deputy Governor Faints At Panel Sitting

Deputy governor of Enugu state, Sunday Onyebuchi on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 slumped while answering questions from the 7-man panel set up by the state’s chief judge to investigate charges against him.

Onyebuchi has come under fire of recent after the state’s house of assembly accused him of impeachable offences, with the express backing of the state’s governor Sullivan Iheanacho Chime.

According to a report by The Scoop, Onyebuchi who came in to answer questions from the panel around 9:30 am slumped about 3 hours 5 minutes later and had to be rushed to the hospital by his wife Nneka Ada Onyebuchi, aides and children who were present at the hearing.

Onyebuchi had earlier arrived at the venue of the sitting of the panel in company of his lawyers.
