Former Nigerian military president, Ibrahim Babangida who has been receiving treatment outside the country after taking ill has said that he is well now an plans on returning to the country soon, according to a Vanguard report.
Babangida made the assertion while speaking to newsmen at Niger state governor Mu’azu Aliyu’s residence where the latter was playing host to former military head of state, Abdulsalami Abubakar as part of this year’s Sallah celebrations said ”I am now well and will be back to Nigeria very soon. I miss all of you, I wish you all Barka de Sallah. I am better now and I will be back in few days’ time.”
His date of arrival was however not disclosed.
Both former military rulers are said to be annual Sallah visitors at the governor’s residence, a visit done by only Abubakar this year.
