The Ebonyi State Police Command has reminded residents that the use of illegal use of sirens and tinted vehicles is still prohibited.
The Ebonyi Police Commissioner, Philip Maku, in a statement by DSP Loveth Obianuju, the command’s public relations officer, PPRO, on Monday, November 30, 2020, reiterated that the ban on indiscriminate use of these items was still in force.
The police command also warned against covering of vehicles number plates by unauthorized persons.
Maku said: “Also, the commissioner of police wishes to remind motorcycle operators in the state that the law banning its operation beyond 7pm is still in force.
“Anyone caught disobeying the order, such motorcycle will be impounded and the state government approved fine will be paid.”
