Okezie Ikpeazu, the governor of Abia State, is set to resume on Wednesday, July 21, 2020, at the Government House in Umuahia after recovering from coronavirus, The Nation has learnt.
Sources close to the Abia first family confided Ikpeazu, his wife, Deaconess Nkechi and few aides attended an evening church service at the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) Umuobikwa, Obingwa, the country home of the Governor ahead of his planned resumption on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.
Ikpeazu tested positive for COVID-19 on June 8, 2020, and has been in isolation since then.
