[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he black man once had the potency to talk to God and he answered us in supersonic speed. Then man was so intimate with nature –everything around him was a solution to any problem around him.
Then, the white man came with condemnatory celestial message and in no time, we discarded the lens we use in talking to God and came an intercessor in the garb of a white man.
In collaborative unison, both the Islamic and theological wand whipped us into silence and since then, we have disconnected our path with nature.
One man, however, remained stoic and obstinate to yesterday, he refused the admonition of the strangers and held tight to his root and ceaselessly, he has communicated with nature and returned with unstained results! Call him the rebel priest, you won’t be wrong for the man in all his life has lived in contradictions of common norms, deviating always from popular stance.
He is what the conformists consider as a rabble-rouser, deviant and rebel.
Ejike Camillus Anthony Ebenezer Mbaka a Catholic Priest of Enugu Dioceses. Parish Priest of Christ the King Parish GRA Enugu and the founder and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministries Enugu Nigeria (Amen) is considered as one of the most consistent prophetic radars.
Generally revered and overwhelmingly despised, he will be defined here as a torn in the flesh of politicians, highly controversial, philanthropist, sneaky, a subterraneous yet explicit proponent of celestial Catholicism.
Mbakas’ elevation of celestial divinity to a virtue explains the phenomenal rise of Christian seers, prophets and miracle workers. Unlike others, his voyage into celestial divinity has yielded plausible results than the rest who model and rivals him.
He predicted a political fall for Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in 2015, tipped Muhammadu Buhari to political triumphalism in same 2015.
In 2019, he came frighteningly hard on Peter Obi- warning him of imminent disgrace if he dared run under the People’s Democratic Party, if political defeat is Mbaka’s definition of disgrace, sure, Obi got it as President Muhammadu Buhari roundly defeated Alhaji Abubakar Atiku whom Peter Obi ran with in the 2019 General elections.
Unrestrained from what sustains his celestial reign, Father Ejike Mbaka fired another prophetic shot that has come to a defining trend today.
Mbaka, during the December 31, 2019, Passover night at his Adoration ground – an annual ritual that has come to define the fiery clergy scion had said that the holy spirit ministered unto him that Senator Hope Uzodinma, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2019 election will take over from Governor Ihedioha this year.
“Even though Ihedioha has won in a tribunal and at the Appeal Court, that doesn’t mean that he will triumph in Supreme Court enough of all this brouhaha…”
Those were the exact words of the controversial Catholic priest’. And like a telegraphic outcome, the Supreme Court sacked Emeka Ihedioha as Governor of Imo thus revalidating the potency of Father Ejike Mbaka as the undisputable Champion of Celestial Divinity, UCCD, in Nigeria.
He says it the way he sees it as revealed to him by God according to Mbaka. You can only query what you don’t see but in the case of the Rev father, it has been a plausible template of proven empiricism.
While the Supreme Court judgment came as a piercing piece of an unexpected arrow, someone in the inner circle of Hon. Emeka Ihedioha released a picture showing the ousted man in his vulnerable pitiable state.
The picture was taken obviously by one of Ihedioha’s closest aides. This picture was taken when Emeka slumped to the weight of the Supreme Court verdict maybe.
However, rather than join in his low moment, this aide decided to take this picture and send it to the world. This photo has circulated already in million shares.
There is a general argument of when and where the picture was taken, some say it was during the memorial service in honour of one of his commissioners with more online commentators saying it was taken the moment the Supreme Court judgment hit the street.
Regardless of where it was taken, I’m sure who took the picture was still a close aide? Taking this picture and releasing it yesterday is the highest cruelty done to loyalty. You don’t use a man’s low moment to gloat him.
This is what happens when you are surrounded by those you think are your friends or family members. They are the first to scorn you when things go bad- while things luxuriate in good, they are everywhere around you.
The bible described them as hypocrites while the Quran painted them as ‘Munafiqun’. They are your albatross and sell you off when the tide changes. We have them everywhere as long as we live. One thing they fail to understand, however, is the reality that once you are uprooted, they will also lose their bearings. This is the sad reality of evil people who disguise themselves as friends and families.
In their quest to see you fall, they forget that they are also falling with you. Indeed, only man kills without eating his game.
May we not be surrounded by enemies within like Emeka Ihedioha was gifted with! In the last few hours, only his wife has come out in the open to speak in soothing padding to him, the many hangers-on, cheerleaders, political jobbers, and overzealous security personnel have all reclined –in search of another fair-weather opportunity.
Meanwhile, what will happen to Hope Uzodinma’s running mate who decamped to PDP and is now a serving commissioner under ousted Governor Emeka Ihedioha? Indeed, this life is a broken ware of uncertainty.
It was in Cyprian Ekwensi’s book ‘African Night Entertainment’, I read about leaving vengeance to God! Upon winning the 2019 poll, Ihedioha went on rampaging vengeance pulling down almost everything Rochas laboured to put in place. So vicious was he that he sent Senator Owelle Rochas Okoroacha on exile while he reigned momentarily like an emperor.
Just yesterday, everything has changed and power which he rode on drunkenly has been taken from him. Like Rochas, he too is now a former landlord. However, Rochas is in the senate while Ihedioha is back in the wilderness.
The inherent lesson here is this, wherever you find yourself, trod on carefully, nothing is assured, not even life.
