Former Head of State, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, has returned to the country, after successfully undergoing surgery in a German hospital.
IBB arrived on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Minna airport by 2.50 pm in a chartered flight and was welcomed by his son and daughter, Mohammed and Halima babangida, amidst some of his close friends and family members.
Speaking with journalists upon arrival, the former ruler said he was grateful to Nigerians for their prayers and goodwill while he was away, stating that he is now better.
“I am feeling better. I want to use this opportunity to appreciate my entire compatriot Nigerians for the goodwill and gestures they expressed during my absence,” he said.
