President Muhammadu Buhari has explained his perceived reluctance to appoint ministers since assuming office after over two weeks.
Speaking during an interview with ARISE News on Sunday, June 14, 2015 President Buhari said he was in no hurry to announce his cabinet, expressing his surprise at the clamour by Nigerians for ministerial appointments.
He said: “I don’t know why people are so anxious for the ministers. But eventually we will have them.”
During the course of the interview, which was held shortly after the dinner held for Heads of States after the 25th Opening Session of the African Union (AU) in Johannesburg, South Africa, President Buhari talked about the emergence of the new leaders of the House of Assembly.
