A female artist took art to the next level after she panted a portrait of Donald Trump using the most bizarre tool ever- her menstrual blood, and people all over, are finding the image really cool.
Sarah Levy, apparently irked by the way Trump gets on people’s nerves with ill comments about women, decided to wait for her period to come before getting to work .
Levy, a self-described ‘journalist, activist and artist’ who hails from Portland, Oregon, caught the inspiration to create the artwork from two of the biggest campaign blunders made by Trump.
The first was when he called Mexican migrants in the US ‘rapists’ and ‘drug dealers’, which he proclaimed literally as soon as he announced his presidency.
The second was after the first GOP debate, when he implied Fox News host Megyn Kelly was being tough on him because she was on her period.
Buzzfeed News, reports that Levy intends to donate all profits from selling the painting to a pro-immigration organisation.
Meanwhile, the panting had already faded from bright red to a sort-of brown colour, just the way blood changes colour days after being exposed.
She said: “That he thinks he can bring up the healthy functioning of women’s reproductive systems to insult women’s intelligence is a big problem that I think needs to be called out.”
