A man was shocked to the marrows when he found a very huge snake inside a petrol pump as he tried to fill his car.
“I thought no, that’s not possible,” Adzy Heist, a Chemical Engineer from Sydney told Mail Online, before he looked closer and saw the snake popping its head out, and blending its body in with the pump.
While people are advised to be careful as snakes could crawl out from anywhere, the management of the petrol station decided to sort the situation by placing an orange cone near the pump.
While suggesting that the station should have put up a sign to warn unsuspecting customers, Heist added, “While I was inside getting coffee I saw other people pull up and do the same thing – they could have arranged it better.”
In as much as carpet pythons are not poisonous, they are pretty huge and can grow for as long as three metres in length.
As the weather in Australia warms up for summer, snakes are coming out of hibernation and looking for places to hang out.
