A group of men believed to be political thugs have attacked a man in a brutal stabbing and left the knife in his chest region before fleeing the scene.
The Trent Metro learnt that the incident took place about two weeks ago while the man was rushing to the airport to catch a flight in Lagos state.
Unfortunately, he met some thugs who were having a political campaign in the Surulere axis of the state.
They attempted to snatch his bag but when he declined, they brutally plunged a huge knife into his chest region and fled the scene abandoning the man in the pool of his own blood.
The unnamed man who is obviously in great pains was said to have been rushed to Eko hospital in the area before he was subsequently moved to Lagos State University Teaching Hospital,LUTH where he had a successful surgical operation to remove the knife.
