The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that elections into the Federal House of Representatives in eleven federal constituencies of Jigawa State.
Making the announcement, the Resident Electoral Commissioner in Jigawa State, Halliru Aliyu Tambuwal said the shift in th election was due to lack of voting materials.
Tambuwal also said that the commission needed to clarify the issue before embarking on the exercise.
No new date has been announced for the rescheduled elections.
