A correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria NAN Alhaji Adamu Sadiq was attacked by hoodlums on Saturday evening at his residence in Taraba state. Several valuable worth over N 8 million and a Honda Accord car were stolen.
According to reports, the armed men attacked his residence in the evening, when people had not gone to bed.
Sadiq said in an interview that the armed men stormed his residence and ordered that his wife and children lay down on the floor, tied him up and carted away with home theater, plasma TV and valuable items.
He further stated that the robbers, on entering the house told his family that they had no intention to kill, that were on instruction to collect the money he had brought home the previous day but would be forced to kill if they do not cooperate.
