A man holding his 3-year-old son jumped from a Manhattan high-rise Sunday afternoon killing himself and his little boy, police said.
The 35-year-old man died after jumping from the 52-floor building in Lincoln Square around 12:05 p.m. The toddler died at Roosevelt Hospital, cops said.
It is unknown how high the man was when he jumped, but he died from the fall. His son was later taken to the hospital, where he died.
“I work in the hospital. I heard a boom!” said Adam Gutierrez, who works in the emergency room at the nearby hospital.
“The sound, the way it sounded, they must’ve jumped from high up.”
