Some miscreants have engaged on a serious fight in the early hours of Friday, November 28, 2014 in the Lekki Phase 1 area of Lagos state.
Fracas ensued between some motorcycle riders popularly called “Okada”, commercial bus drivers and some the thugs hired by the chairman of the Eti-Osa local government area to confiscate any motorcycle seen within the area.
It was learnt that the bike riders refused to give up their motorcycles to the hired men which allegedly sparked off the clash.
Some men of the police command were immediately deployed to the scene of the incident in order to restore normalcy in the area.
Meanwhile, there has not yet been any report of any casualty from the incident.
