A 33-year old -woman saved her 6-month old baby by hiding her in a toilet bowl after her boyfriend shot her in the head before killing himself in a murder-suicide, Daily Mail reports.
Jessica Arrendale was found dead in her Atlanta townhouse after police got to the house and found the baby safe in the toilet and had to take her to the hospital as she had hypothermia.

Davis was said to have pursued Arrandale up to the third floor of the house, where she attempted hitting him with a baseball bat in self defence, although Davis overpowered her and struck her with it.
Davis then fetched a rifle as Arrandale hid in the bathroom with her six-month old daughter, Cobie.
Around this time the police arrived, and attempted to contact the now armed Davis. After they breached the door at about 1:30 pm, they found both Arraendale and Davis killed by gunshot wounds to the head.
Cobie was later discovered in the toilet bowl covered by her mother’s body, she was then rushed to the hospital.
“She had pure will. She wanted that baby to live,” Ionniello said of her daughter. “Her last breath was saving the child.”

The mother of the girls said one the girls told her how Davis stared at her for a long time after which she asked “Daddy, what are you doing?” just before he went upstairs and she heard gun shots.
”I’m not sure where his depression came from,” Chesley says, but added that the couple had been having a running battle over the custody of Cobie.
