There is heavy security at Yenagoa Local Government Area Secretariat, the venue the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is using for the collation of the Bayelsa State governorship election.
Armed soldiers backed by armoured personnel carriers were deployed in the area to complement the police and other sister agencies on ground.
The result of the remaining three local government areas are soon to be announced.
The hospital junction end Road and the FRSC road junction on the Melford Okilo road linking the venue of the collation centre were condoned off to motorists while journalists, election observers and others were subjected to thorough search before they were allowed access to the venue.
