The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) have confirmed that 39 people lost their lives while 49 sustained various degrees of injuries after five explosions were recorded in Maiduguri, the troubled capital of Borno State late on Thursday, October 15, 2015 and Friday, October 16. 2015.

NEMA made the disclosure on Friday, October 16, 2015 via its social media platform, Twitter.
The Agency also used to opportunity to call on Nigerians to speak up whenever anything unusual was noticed in their areas.
