Three persons have been abducted by gunmen at the Ikakumo area of Ondo state.
The victims were said to be travellers.
Ikakumo, a border town with Edo state, is in Akoko North East local government area.
Witnesses said a commercial motorcyclist drove into the scene and was beaten to coma by the suspects.
He was said to have reported the abduction to local residents.
Razak Rauf, the Police area commander, who confirmed the incident on Saturday, October 31, 2020, said investigation has begun on the case.
Ondo Police spokesman, Tee-Leo Ikoro, said he was yet to be briefed on the incident.
