Meet The President was organised by PVC – Participate, Vote, Country – a group of young Nigerian professionals, businessmen and entrepreneurs. The group is the brainchild of Audu Maikori, Chioma Emetanjo, Ohimai Amaize, Aziza Uko among others.
The event was organised to mobilise young Nigerians to support President Jonathan and create a platform for intimate interaction between the President and Nigerian youths on issues of national importance from security to economy, health, youth empowerment etc.
About 5,000 youths were at the event which held on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Eko Hotel Grand Ballroom and Eko Hotel Convention Center, Lagos. Nollywood actors and actresses, music artistes, young professionals, politicians and the creme of young Nigerians graced the event.
