President Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday, made courtesy visits to the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero and then the Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade; Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III; and Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwanu Babatunde Akiolu I in what many observers say is part of his pre-election campaigning.

President Jonathan has just finished a private visit to Kano, specifically to the Emir of Kano. He has since left Kano for Lagos.
