Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan is in the United States to attend President Barack Obama’s US-Africa Leadership Summit.
Some media had reported that Obama turned down a request for a private meeting with Jonathan. But, that doesn’t appear to be true as President Jonathan met with US Vice President Joe Biden in the Roosevelt Room of the White House today, August 5, 2014.
Here are snaps from the meeting and the two leaders do appear happy to meet each other.
