Rihanna has just become the first black woman to EVER star in a Dior campaign.
The singer – who is certainly no stranger to the fashion circuit (see Balmain and Puma) – will follow the likes of Charlize Theron and Jennifer Lawrence as the face of the historic brand.
Launched in 1946, it’s crazy Dior has taken so long to include a black woman in a campaign, but Rihanna will be making history by taking her place in the Dior spotlight.
While we’ll have to wait until later this spring to see the full campaign, perhaps we should take a little look at exactly why the fashion killa has landed this sort-after gig…
