A Non-Governmental Organisation, the Progressive Friend Foundation (PFF) has said that it is fully behind the re-election bid of incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan ahead of the Saturday, February 14, 2015 presidential polls, urging Nigerians to get on the Jonathan campaign train based on the achievements recorded by his administration.
PFF’s Director-General, Pat Ifeanyi Oramah made the assertion on Saturday, January 3, 2014 during a briefing with newsmen, stating that any support afforded the President would be in the best interest of the country.
He pointed out the gains made in the agriculture sector, as rice yield has quadrupled within a short period, while foreign investment in Nigeria’s agriculture has been at an all-time high. He also noted the building of silos all over the country to curb the issue of food wastage, as farmers are getting more sophisticated courtesy of the e-Wallet scheme introduced by President Jonathan.
Oramah also hailed President Jonathan for the massive creation of jobs recorded during his regime, not forgetting the fact that airports were being rehabilitated, making tem “worthy gateways to the country.
