An aide to Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha and General Manager of the Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA), Emmanuel Ugorji has been apprehended by operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS) for vandalising campaign bill boards and banners belong to President Goodluck Jonathan.
The Scoop reports that investigation has shown that the said vandalisation of the campaign materials were traced to officials of the OCDA, prompting the rounding up of Ugorji.
Asides President Jonathan – who is to visit Imo State soon in continuance of his re-election campaign – banners, buntings and billboards belonging to the Peoples Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate, Emeka Ikedioha were also pulled down.
Ugorji and Governor Okorocha are members of the All Progressives Congress (APC)
