Governor Adams Oshiomole of Edo State has declared Wednesday, April 1, 2015 a public holiday to celebrate the victory of his party’s – All Progressives Congress (APC) – presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari in the just concluded presidential election.
Making the announcement via a statement issued by Peter Okhira, his Chief Press Secretary, Governor Oshiomole urged people of the state to troop out in their numbers to the Oba Ovoranmwen Square, Benin City at 3pm to celebrate the victory.
Artistes billed to perform at the celebratory gig include Davido, Patoranking, Osayomore Joseph, Young Bolivia, among others.
