Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, has hailed the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Adamu Mu’azu and the Chairman of the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT), Chief Tony Anenih, following their decision to resign.
Speaking via a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, Governor Dickson thanked both men for putting the putting the interest of the party and that of the nation above their personal interests and aspirations.
Governor Dickson went on to wish Mu’azu quick recovery, adding that he was looking forward to his return so as to help the expected rebuilding of the PDP. He also thanked Anenih for his many years of service to the party.
Governor Dickson concluded by commending the emergence of Uche Secondus as the acting National Chairman, urging all leaders and members of the party to support him as he had the needed experience to ‘reposition the party and re-launch it back to reckoning.’
