Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on Monday, June 15, 2015 dissolved all Boards and Parastatals in the state.
According to the special adviser to the governor on media and publicity, Opunabo Inko-Tariah, the dissolution is with immediate effect.
The dissolved boards are to handover to their various authorities.
Inko-Tariah further revealed that two boards were not affected by the said dissolution – The Rivers State Waste Management Authority and The Greater Port Harcourt Authority.
