In his bid to fulfill his campaign promise of providing employment, Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State has walked the talk by creating jobs in the Agriculture sector for the youths of the state.
According to the governor, about 10, 000 youths in the state would be employed to serve in different capacity in the agricultural sector in order to sustain the agricultural revolution which would be experienced in the state in no time.
The development was made known by the governor in Uyo, the state capital during a solidarity visit at the Government House by leaders of major socio-cultural organizations.
Governor Emmanuel reinstated the resolve of his administration to ensure a better economy by laying a solid foundation for the future through industrialization.
For a start up of the plans, the governor further revealed that ten modernized Cassava processing Plant would be established across the state.
