Kechi Okwuchi, the only survivor of the December 2005 Sosoliso plane crash has gone against the odds and graduated from the University of St Thomas Houston, Texas.
Okwuchi – aged 16 at the time – was on the ill-fated flight which claimed 110 lives, including 60 other of her schoolmates from Loyola Jesuit College, Abuja and popular clergywoman, Bimbo Odukoya.
She graduated on Saturday, May, 16, 2015 did not only come out with top honours, but was inducted into six academic honor societies.
The 26-year old was also chosen to give the commencement address to the class of 2015 at her school, capped an amazing academic haul by emerging as the most Outstanding student for her major in Economics.
