Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo is known to make and break records so it comes as no surprise that he broke yet another goal-scoring record on the night of Tuesday, December 8, 2015.
The 30-year-old found the back of the net four times in Real Madrid’s 8-0 Champions League victory against Swedish side, Malmo.
The third goal Ronaldo scored on the night made him the first ever player to score 10 goals in the group stage of a Champions League campaign.
The previous record of highest goals scored in in the group stage of a Champions League campaign was 9 goals and it was a record jointly held by Luiz Adriano and Ronaldo.
The Portuguese is also the first player to emerge top goalscorer in the UEFA Champions League for a record five times.
