A giant penis-like cloud of smoke which was emitted from a local steel production company known as Tata Steel was spotted up in the sky after an ‘unexpected reaction’.

They produced steel used manufacturing vehicles, domestic appliances and construction components.
Some residents claimed they heard a loud bang at the steel works before noticing a chemical smell, followed by the giant penis-like cloud of smoke, Wales Online reports
The smoke was spotted in the early hours of Saturday, January 24, 2015 according to a spokesperson of the Tata Steel in Welsh.
He said, ‘A process took place on Saturday morning. It was managed, according to operational procedures, safely within the works.’

According to him, the unexpected reaction wascausedby rapid cooling of iron which was transferred from one vessel to another during the plating process.
The works being carried out in Port Talbot is part of Tata Steel’s Strip Products UK business, producing hot-rolled, cold-rolled and hot-dip coated steel.
It operates as an integrated works with its sister plant at Llanwern in Newport.
