Former Head of State and APC presidential aspirant, General Muhammadu Buhari had on Sunday October 12, 2014 paid a courtesy visit to Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, and to formally invite him to his Presidential bid declaration on October 15th at the Eagles Square Abuja.
General Buhari implores the Fashola and his cabinet to work as a formidable force and ensured that the party retains the state come 2015 and by extension acquire the presidency in the coming presidential election.
He also commends the effort of the Lagos State Government for the ceaseless effort to transform Lagos into a mega city.
The visit was welcome by the entire cabinet of Governor Babtunde Fashola, as he reiterates his support for the presidential Aspirant as a governor and a party member, to ensure his victory in the end.
The meeting held at the Lagos State Government House, Alausa.
