Femi Gbajabiamilia, the member of the House of Representatives chosen by the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been named as the Majority Leader of the House.
Making the announcement on the floor of the green chamber on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 was the Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara.
Asides Gbajabiamila, Dogara also announced Buba Jibrin as the deputy house leader, Alhassan Doguwa as the chief whip, and Pally Iriase deputy chief whip.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the minority party chose, Chukwuma Onyema as the minority house leader; Leo Ogor as deputy minority house leader; Umar Barde as minority whip, and Binta Bello as deputy minority whip.
