The attention of the general public has been alerted as to the existence of fake Facebook accounts created by cyber fraudsters in the name of Air Chief Marshal Alex Sabundu Badeh, the Chief of Defence Staff.
The accounts appear to to go by different fake identities and official photographs of the army chief.
The warning which was contained in a press release signed by Major General Chris Olukolade, the Director of Defence I nformation on Monday, September 15, 2014 disclaims the fraudulent accounts as Badeh does not operate any Facebook account, private or official.
Olukolade further states that any exchange of messages or correspondence with the account has nothing to do with the Chief of Defence Staff.
