Former Nigerian Minister and Senator that was kidnapped in Ogun State last week, Senator Iyabo Anisulowo, has regained freedom from her captors. She was rescued on Tuesday evening, May 3, 2016.
Anisulowo, who represented Ogun West Senatorial District between 2003 and 2007 at the Senate, was abducted last week Wednesday while returning from her farm by four armed men.
She was rescued in a village called Gbegbelawo, an outskirt of Olorunda town in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State at about 7pm.
The state police public relations officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said two suspects were arrested in connection with the incident.
