“I don’t know if it would be advice as much as action,” she said. “I would be very present in his life right now. And I would be probably with him a good chunk of the time, just there to talk, to figure out what’s going on in his head, to figure out who’s in his life and who’s not, you know.”
Obama added that she feels her children seek parental advice, emphasizing that Bieber is “still a kid, he’s still growing up.”
Bieber’s actual mom, Pattie Mallette, has come under scrutiny, in light of Bieber’s egging and drug scandals. “If Justin’s struggling, don’t kick him when he’s down or condemn him — pray for him,” she said in defense of her son.
The question of how the first lady would care for Bieber arises from a petition of the White House requesting the singer be deported following his recent arrest. At the time of this post’s publication, the petition has received 252,782 signatures, more than double it’s goal of 100,000.
Unfortunately, the only thing less likely than Barack Obama having Bieber deported is Michelle Obama deciding to adopt him.
