The Ebonyi State House of Assembly in Abakaliki was in the early hours of Tuesday, February 24, 2015 gutted by fire.
According to reports, the fire started in the Accounts department of the complex before spreading to the media section of the complex, destroying several property including sensitive documents.
As at press time, policement had arrived with Amoured Personnel Carrier as journalists and workers were barred from entering the complex.
