The Local Organising Committee of The African Nations Championship, CHAN, has announced that the President of the world football governing body, FIFA, Sepp Blatter, will arrive South Africa on Friday January 31st 2014 to watch the final match of the tournament.
The finals will be played between Ghana and Libya.
Ghana qualified for the final after beating Nigeria 4-1 on penalties after regulation time ended goal-less. Libya also edged out Zimbabwe on penalty to book a place in the final.
The third place match is between Nigeria and Zimbabwe and will be played after the closing ceremony. The winner of the competition will be decided immediately after the loser’s final.
