The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has reportedly endorsed the candidacy of former Green Eagles star, Chief Segun Odegbami as one of the candidates for the FIFA presidential election.
With NFF’s endorsement, Odegbami becomes Nigeria’s sole candidate for the upcoming election.

Before now, former Abia state governor Chief Orji Uzor Kalu was also reported to be in the race for the football’s world governing body.
According to Complete Sports, Odegbami said he has only been hearing of his endorsement but had not been informed formally.
The FIFA presidential election is slated to take place in Switzerland on February 26, 2016.
