The Federal Government on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, through the Minister of Interior, Mr. Abba Moro, declared Friday, May 1, 2015, a public holiday to mark the 2015 Workers’ Day celebration.
In a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mr. Abubakar Magaji, the minister congratulated Nigerians for their resilient and committed work spirit in the face of daily living. He urged Nigerians to continue supporting the President’s quest for a peaceful and stable nation with a vibrant economy.
The minister wishes all Nigerian workers a happy and joyous celebration.
