A daredevil duo have set a new record after base jumping from the world’s tallest building in Dubai.
Although the pair were not the first to jump off the building, a 500ft temporary tower was built on top of the Burj Khalifa meaning they surpassed previous attempts.
The video shows the moment the two base jumpers dived from the building as they set off red smoke in order to make them more visible to the cameras monitoring the attempt.
Fugen and Reffet prepared for the record attempt by jumping off a mountain near Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland, which is around the same height as the tower.
They also made a few jumps from helicopters in Dubai in a bid to get used to the city’s towering skyline.

However, Saudi Arabia has announced plans to build the world’s tallest building, which will be called the Kingdom Tower, and will be nearly 600 feet taller than the Burj Khalifa.
