Justice Tijani Bolarinwa Babalakin, a former Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, is Dead.
Babalakin died on Saturday at the age of 94.
Babalakin is a native of Gbongan in the present Ayedaade Local Government Area in Osun state.
A close relative to the family confirmed the death of the retired justice.
The source explained that Babalakin would be buried in Gbongan by 4.pm in line with Islamic rites.
The source who also hails from Gbongan said “It is true that Baba is dead”
Our correspondent learnt that the deceased, a devout Muslim was an active member Muslim Association Of Nigeria, Ansarudeen Society, and other notable Islamic organisations.
He once occupied the position as President, Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria, MUSWEN.
The deceased was survived many children and grandchildren among whom are; Bolanle Babalakin (SAN), Chairman, Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Ltd, and Architect Tayo Babalakin, among others.
